History

The shouts of joy from the eruption of the well, the smell of oil and the sound of the plane engine were simultaneous events that happened to the people of the "Yameh" area of Masjed Soleyman.

Yes, when seeing a car was still considered one of the most amazing and strange events, the runway of "Yameh Masjed Soleiman" (the city of the first) was built as the first runway in Iran in 1305.
This runway was the landing and take-off of planes belonging to the National Iranian Oil Company. Subsequently, with the construction of "Kut Abdullah Ahvaz" and "Abadan Airport" airports, the history of these areas was determined and the landing of the planes' wheels left healthy and memorable flights on the hard ground of these airports and the people of the region cheered. And the constant joys have been watching them sit and rise.

This great starting point was recorded forever as the beginning of the aviation industry in Iran, and the sky of Iran was a hotbed of iron birds belonging to the "National Oil Company", which had earned the title of "Falcon of the Sky".

After 22 years, when the only sound of the engine of the National Oil Company planes broke the silence of the sky and overshadowed the song and the sound of birds on the branches of the trees, companies such as Homa Airlines, Air Force and Post were able to slowly fly over Iran. Start their activities. Air Services, with its management of the oil-rich areas, was responsible for managing and coordinating all oil flights with Dutch and Canadian pilots prior to the Islamic Revolution with the "Friend Slope" and "Twin Ather" aircraft.

With the beginning of the Islamic Revolution, all foreign pilots left the country and all flights were canceled and stagnant.
In order to change the situation and to restart the oil flights, in 1980, the living memory of the great man "Ali Khedir" as the head of the oil air services in Abadan, with tact and intelligence and great effort, with the help and cooperation of other committed officials to launch the aircraft Fokker 27 did.

With continuous planning and follow-up, one of the pilots of "Taxi Services" (now Aseman Airlines) named Mr. "Grikourian", after obtaining a license from the Civil Aviation Organization, as the first pilot and Mr. "Pilot" Niazi, who trained abroad. They had seen him start flying as a co-pilot, and the frozen heart of the air service began to beat again, marking the beginning of a major turning point in the company's history.

The sound of locusts and aircraft engines sparking hope and enthusiasm for the continued work and exploitation of committed employees.
The satellite staff in the southern islands of our country considered the sound of planes flying as the most beautiful bell to fly home and family.

The imposed war began. Due to the siege of Abadan, in order to maintain and protect the equipment and devices of the planes, in an epic program and with daring and sacrifice, the staff proceeded to transfer the mentioned items to Omidieh Airport.
Unfortunately, one of the planes was destroyed by the bombing.
Another aircraft suffered severe and deep damage due to multiple shrapnel. Despite all the efforts and renovations made by the hardworking staff, it was no longer usable.
A Friend Shib plane also landed at Basra Airport following a surprise hijacking incident, but the plane was never returned.
After the defeat of the siege of Abadan, a damaged plane was transferred to Ahvaz airport, but due to lack of use, it was donated to the oil museum located in Abadan.

During the years of holy defense, Ahvaz airport served as the evacuation headquarters and the only active office at the airport was the office of the oil company. Committed and zealous employees along with all military forces and the army, John Berkoff in the stronghold of love and epic, his presence They bravely proved it.

In war zones such as: Aghajari, Kharg, Siri, Lavan, etc., only oil planes flew and Dezful airport was the place for war and fighter planes. The flight of oil planes over the skies of war-torn areas, a beacon of hope in the hearts of the staff and people of the region and giving a sense of care and safety was the most beautiful and unique behavior performed by pilots and other flight crews. The company's planes have recorded 24,000 flight hours in harsh conditions of war and red conditions in their honors, and the hard-working and enthusiastic staff of flight operations, engineering and repair units, logistics, trade, etc. with their lives and around the clock and to protect Borders and canvases made an unparalleled effort.

Wartime flights were very difficult due to the lack of lights on the runways of the airports (due to the red and blackout situation).

During the war years, due to the bombing of the power plant and the closure of Khark bakeries, the food of the locals (including bread, food and other necessities) was delivered to the people by the flight crew (these anonymous heroes) on a daily basis.
With commitment, they played the full role of "brave air soldiers" in the history of our country.

"Air Ambulance" is another name for the company's "Twin Ater" aircraft, which, during the war, did not stop as a caring and devoted mother to save the lives of the wounded and transport the martyrs, with the tireless work of the flight crew and other staff.

One of the most significant honors of the company is receiving the title of the safest airline in the Middle East, which has been registered with a high level of safety and no air or passenger accidents.
